Rose Ashes is a fully insured fire performer based out of Steamboat Springs, CO. She has been baton twirling since the age of 4 and has performed at State, Regional, and National baton twirling championships. Additionally, Rose Ashes has been choreographing dance twirl routines and coaching baton twirling for over ten years. She has received formal training in ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, modern, belly dance, hula dance, break dance, martial arts, fire performance safety, fire breathing, staff, double staff, poi, hula hoop, nunchaku, fans, aerial dance, pole dance, juggling, acro-yoga, improvisational acting and acrobatics. Naturally, Rose Ashes uses the skills she has gained from baton twirling and dance in her fire performances.

She combines dance, baton twirling, acrobatics, and martial arts with fire prop manipulation in an entertaining, exciting, graceful, and somewhat comedic improvisational performance, which is further enhanced by booking multiple fire performers. Rose Ashes is a member of the Steamboat Pyroneers, a local fire and circus performance troupe that is proficient in the manipulation of a wide variety of props and forms of dance/acrobatics. The Steamboat Pyroneers are available for booking for private parties, corporate events, and shows.

PRIVATE/GROUP FLOW ARTS INSTRUCTION: Rose Ashes is a certified level 1 baton twirling coach and is a fully insured instructor through the United States Twirling Association. She specializes in the instruction of children. Hence, her teaching methods are very simple to understand, tapping into visual, bodily-kinestethic, and auditory learning modalities. Rose Ashes will bring fire, glow, and/or practice batons, poi, staff, nunchucks for sale to events upon request. A brief but mandatory donation based fire performance safety course will be offered to any individuals interested in purchasing fire props.

SKI/SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTOR:  Based out of "Ski Town USA", AKA Steamboat Springs, Co, Rose has a passion for snowsports. She has been teaching skiing since the winter of 2007 and snowboarding since 2013. She is a certified level 1 ski instructor and level 1 children's snowsport specialist through Professional Ski Instructors of America.

 

LIFEGUARD/WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR/MERMAID: Are you thinking of having a pool party? Rose Ashes is a certified lifeguard and water safety instructor through the American Red Cross since 2015. Enjoy your party, knowing that your children are in safe hands, being entertained by a lifeguard/swim instructor with a mermaid tail!

FACE/BODY PAINTING: Rose Ashes has been face/body painting since 2012. She uses both traditional body paints and black light responsive paints. Kids and adults alike love face/body painting!

 

PRINCESS CHARACTER/MC/DANCE MOTIVATOR: Rose Ashes has been working as a princess character-MC-DJ-dance motivator at children parties since 2010. Children love her high energy and engaging demeanor. Her costuming is great for photos as well!

BARTENDER/WAITRESS/CATERER: bartender, waitress, caterer. Rose Ashes has been professionally trained in bartending by AllStarBartenders and is TIPS certified. She has been working in catering and in the resturant industry since 2005. Hiring a private bartender/waitress/caterer for your event takes the burden off of you!

BABYSITTER: Rose Ashes has been working with youth in a recreational setting since 2002. Additionally, she is a certified through the state of Colorado as an early childhood educator. She is holds her first aid, CPR, AED, oxygen, and lifeguard certification through the American Red Cross. She has had excellent reviews from families on vacation in Steamboat Springs. Parents have reported that their children have highlighted having Rose as their babysitter during their winter vacation as one of their favorite vacation memories.
